Our UHT Equipment and other Units are pre-assembled ready
for connection as far as practicable. The complete pre-assembly of the
equipment on a base frame ready for connection minimises the assembly work and
cost on site. The modular structure of, for example, UHT plants, allows
for expansion and modification at a later date. Another positive aspect
of pre-assembly is that due to the standardised build-up process, risks
with regard to sterility can be avoided.
Machine tools, that in the course of projects
have been designed, constructed and fine-tuned especially for the
production processes at Ahaus, allow for an efficient production of
semi-finished products for the follow-up manufacture of components.
The machine is a so called 'Ring wind-up machine'. This
machine is used for the placement of spacer rings that are used on the inside
tubes of our heat exchangers.
Another machine tool is
the 'Pipe-bending machine' (Fig. 4) that forms U-shaped tubes from pipe
material ready for installation in the heat exchanger.
For component pre-assembly we use different welding
methods:
- Orbital welding
- TIG manual welding
Electrical wiring and cabling (fine-tuning) of process
plants and plant components complete with software test belongs to the services
of the pre-assembly department at the Ahaus subsidiary.
Pressure equipment is manufactured and tested at our
premises according to the
PED
Directive 97 / 23 EC. We received the corresponding TÜV certificate in
2004.
AD 2000–leaflets
are standard for the design, manufacture, equipment and test of our plant
components also certified by TÜV in 2004.
In view of our
steadily increasing business with companies abroad as well as for expanding our
market potential, we are certified according to ASME in 2005.
