GEA TDS at DRINKTEC in Munich, 14 - 19 September 2009

GEA TDS has presented the lastest variants of the VARITUBE tubular heat exchanger types, designed and manaufactured in our aseptic center at Ahaus. Additionally we have shown the special pasteurisation process for cold aseptic filling in detail.
And last but not least we have explained our automation expertise - for example our track & trace program for a reliable product tracebility.

The  VARITUBE® SK Tubular Heat Exchanger
which prevents product deposits:
The VARITUBE® heat exchanger now includes a patented flow device, that prevents the build up of product fibres especially when processing fibrous fruit juices.
The benefits of this development: optimised economic and operational efficiency and increased production stability of heat exchanger systems.

An advanced pasteurisation process enabling cold aseptic filling:

This process now can handle products with fibres using the new VARITUBE® SK module. Moreover a sterile process is given by the used components, such as GEA Tuchenhagen VARIVENT® mixproof valves being pressure hammer resistent, a sterile buffer tank and a deaeration system achieving low oxygen products. All this process treatment results in a product suitable for cold aseptic filling using PET bottles.
