Tuchenhagen Dairy Systems GmbH hands over a new 2.4 million litre tank farm to Mast-Jägermeister in Wolfenbüttel-Linden

A new production facility for the production and filling of the herb liqueur Jägermeister has been established in Wolfenbüttel-Linden. Originally, there were only two warehouses for filled bottles for domestic and international customers on the site of the new facility.

A hall of approx. 3500 m² for two filling lines has now been integrated between the two warehouses. The manufacturer has already handed the first filling line over to Mast-Jägermeister.
Beside this building, a tank farm with a capacity of more than 2 million litres and a floor space of more than 1200 m² was erected.

In connection with the new tank farm and the installation of the filling line, an order with the following scope of supply was placed with Tuchenhagen Dairy Systems:

  • Planning of the process technology for the production of Jägermeister
  • Project handling for the entire process technology from raw material reception to supplying the fillers
  • Supplying the process technology
  • Supplying the automation system including recipe system and product tracing
  • Installation of the piping and the electrical system
  • Commissioning and operator training

The plant consists of three areas:
The explosion proof area of the building accommodates four road tanker unloading stations, a raw material tank farm with a capacity of 1 million litres, the continuous inline Jägermeister blending line and the Jägermeister filtration line, each with a capacity of 30,000 l/h.
A Jägermeister tank farm with a capacity of 1.4 million litres and the water treatment system with storage tanks and distribution system are installed in the second finished product area.
The control centre and switch room are located in an adjoining section of the building as well as a laboratory and the sanitary facilities/break areas and the building services.
